METHODOLOGY

How a raw answer becomes an IQ.

Every psychometric instrument compresses messy human performance into a single number. Form 7C does it in four transparent steps — the same pipeline used, in far more elaborate form, by supervised clinical instruments.

WEIGHTS DERIVED FROM PILOT COHORT · N = 2,412*
01

Raw responses

Fifteen items span five faculties — pattern, logic, numeric, verbal, spatial. A correct answer earns its points; a wrong or expired one earns zero. There is no penalty for guessing.

02

Difficulty weighting

Each item carries a weight d ∈ {1, 2, 3} calibrated from pilot pass-rates. Solving the hardest items moves your estimate far more than sweeping the easy ones.

03

Tempo coefficient

Median response latency applies a small adjustment (never more than ±4 points), scaled by accuracy. Speed without correctness buys you nothing — speed with it, a little.

04

Norm mapping

The weighted total maps onto a normal distribution with μ = 100, σ = 15, yielding your IQ estimate and percentile — the share of the norm group you outscored.

Read your result like a scientist.

This is an entertainment screening tool. A genuine IQ figure can only come from a supervised, proctored instrument administered by a qualified psychologist.

Sleep, caffeine, screen size and how seriously you take a web page all move a score like this by five points or more. Treat it as a snapshot — not a verdict.
